another TJR book that i absolutely adored. loved how it alternated between the present day and flashbacks, and it worked particularly well with this book considering the stakes. maybe not my favourite out of all of the TJR books but i still cried through the whole ending and it is definitely one of my top reads of the year. 

desperately need a sequel or follow-up book of joan, vanessa, and frances being a happy family PLEASE ms. jenkins reid i'm begging.
