My Name is Why by Lemn Sissay
5.0
A sad and frustrating memoir of a life in the care system in the North West of England. It was very sad to read about the abandonment of Lemn's foster family and his life in different care homes. I definitely want to educate myself more on care homes such as Wood End. It's amazing to see where Lemn has come today after such a troubled and broken childhood. This is a short book that is worth your time reading.
