The Death Cure by James Dashner
adventurous
medium-paced

- Diverse cast of characters? No
3.0
Well, I honestly don’t think I particularly liked the ending of this series.
The first book was the best in my opinion.
But here I felt like the characters emotions were plain, especially Thomas’ emotions.
And the ending was supposed to be satisfactory but I just felt like it was a bit cliche and still many questions got unanswered.
But I have to say Dashner’s world building is really great (his writing is nothing special though).
Anyways I’m glad I’m finally done with this series, I think younger readers would enjoy this a bit more than I did. It’s definitely not the kind of book I’d pick up now that I know my taste in books, but I started this series a year ago when I really didn’t know what I was doing in terms of books lol
