I think this author might just not be for me. That, or, this sounds better as an audiobook only.
Like You Hate Me was also not my kind of narration, except this book unfortunately has poorer sex scenes—the dirty talk is especially unimpressive. It made me laugh a bit. The first “spicy” scene is when one of them comes onto the other while he’s very drunk + high and just had a bathroom freak out. WTH, time and place 😭😭💀
Levi and Wren remind me of the way Elle Kennedy and Sarina Bowen wrote Him, where they feel like caricatures of men. A lot of cursing, all the time, in all shapes. Referring to women derogatorily. It made it hard for me to take their troubles seriously.
Also…I’m not entirely sure if these guys are minors?? Or not?? Since it takes place in high school.
