Ripper by Isabel Allende
3.0

This is the first Isabel Allende book I've read, and it was so hard to engage with the story. I started skipping the back story, and it helped. Every single character had a backstory, and often about other characters not even in the book. They felt more like author notes, and I enjoyed the story much more by skipping those bits. Also, this isn't really a mystery. More like a convoluted love story.
