I read this book for one of my classes and it led to some really fun and interesting discussions.

I think one of the reasons this book is so famous and analyzed is because everything is left to interpretation. It’s up to the reader how dark and twisted they want the story to be be.

This book is very well-written and it definitely deserves to be a staple in the genre, but it was a little too wordy at times and it’s not very scary for modern audiences.

Ultimately, I’m glad I read it but I wouldn’t read it again. I would read/watch other people’s analysis though.
