I love Rhys and Bridget, and I definitely preferred this book to the first book. It seems Ana Huang has a thing for rough, dark and grumpy men as the differences between Rhys Larsen and Alex Volkov were very minimal, which felt as though the romance aspect of the story was a bit repetitive of the first book. However, I loved the storyline with the whole forbidden romance between the princess and her bodyguard and the political and social dramas that occurred in between. Overall, a good read.
