This book remains my favorite of the entire series, even though it is beastly long. I find myself with a new appreciation for Molly Weasley and Minerva McGonagall, and my hatred for Dolores Umbridge has reached new heights, especially reading her in the wake of pandemic restrictions. Also, Rowling's depiction of a media outlet taking orders from a government entity and an independent journalist finding an alternative outlet for the story of the century was remarkably prescient...
