A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas

2.0

i liked it, but i didnt like nesta as much. yes, i can recognize that she was struggling and in a horrible place mentally, but that doesnt excuse her treatment of others. i really enjoyed seeing her recovery and healing, i thought it was written beautifully, especially with the support of gwyn and emerie. it was really motivating as someone who is also in recovery from depression and ptsd. i thought the little slip ups like revealing the danger of feyre's condition was realistic, as recovery isnt a straight line. i can appreciate nestas growth, but i still dont like her as a person so this book was a little hard to get through, but it was worth it in the end. wasnt too big on the whole pregnancy storyline, and sometimes nesta was a bit of an unreliable narrator. overall, it was ok.
