A tale of vampires--centers around MariĆ” (Sabine), Charlotte, and Alice. Super intriguing; had me hooked. Loved V.E. Schwab's prose and how it really sinks you into the setting. I thought that the lore of the vampires was also very interesting, particularly their magical capabilities (being able to claim possession of a place, mind-reading, etc.).
However, it definitely drudges up grey feelings that I would prefer not to experience again. Perhaps it's the constant discussion of how vampires needed to feed, but it was rather gruesome. A great read, though.
