The Mighty Thor, Vol. 2: Lords of Midgard by Jason Aaron

4.0

What a nice side story Loki had told about Vikings and Thor though I think it's a waste of opportunity using up two issues. There were interesting developments in Midgard regarding Agger which feels good because he's having a hard time on his own but the writer didn't forget to weave Jane's story who's now teaming up with an agent. There's a pretty cool light elf introduced which made me wish for more Alfheim heroes stories. And the most amazing part of the volume is Mjolnir's backstory. Jason Aaron's not missing opportunities to put his touch on every aspect of Thor's story. Also, I like how the artists were able to sexualize Agger with all those wounds and chains.
