I really love Clive Barker and this one is far, far more than the horror genre he usually gets attached to. The only reason it's not 5 stars for me is because I have a very hard time giving that score to any book over 500 pages. There is plenty in this one to keep pace, but after a while in any book that scrapes 1000 pages, you have to believe it could have been a little more concise.
