Absolutely brutal look at the for profit prison system taken to its logical conclusion. Incredibly difficult to read, but also very compelling and well-written. My only issue was there were quite a few POVs, and I occasionally got confused about who was who with regards to some minor characters, and had to keep flipping back and forth. Content warnings for just about everything.
