As a mother, this book was very cathartic. The details are so clear that I could picture myself where the character stood, what she felt, and the trauma she experienced. It might not be for everyone, but it felt very personal to me. The mood is very melancholic and reflective. It is perfect for when you are feeling down and out.
Moderate: Rape, Sexual violence, and Sexual assault
