Left to Tell: One Woman's Story of Surviving the Rwandan Holocaust by Steve Irwin, Immaculée Ilibagiza

3.0

Amazing, heartrending story. I was inspired and aghast all at once. I listened to this one, but I did not enjoy the narrator. She has a sort of Brooklyn accent and it didn't fit the story at all. It tended to draw me out of the story, making it somewhat difficult to fully appreciate Immaculee's beautiful, horrible narrative.
