Marriage, just like life, has its ups and downs and is in constant change. No two days, months or years are the same. What usually begins as a couple soon expands to a family with children and careers that require time and attention that take away time from the two people that started their a new life together.
Moira and Zach are not exception and if you add a bit of miscommunication, some fear and frustrations and the man that even though is now belongs to modern society had lived most of his life in the jungle and we get a Christmas that’s bound to be a bit Uncivilized.
I just loved Zach and Moira in Uncivilized with their arousing attraction and spellbinding love and Love: Uncivilized is the perfect addition to their story. It’s delicious even when they’re having the normal troubles married couples go through trying to balance their shifting lives while keeping their connection in the forefront.
I completely understood Moira’s feeling of neglect and simply not being number one in Zach’s priority list. It was great how she pondered, weighed and even understood him when she started working again. The same goes for Zach, I got his desire to succeed for him and his family while struggling with guilt because he did place his family second to his work more often than not. But even if their bond is shaken it’s still soul deep and strong. With patience, understanding and unyielding love they’ll find their happiness that will melt anyone’s heart.
** Love: Uncivilized is a follow up novella to the book, Uncivilized. While it can be read as a standalone, it is best appreciated after having read Uncivilized first. It is told from both points of view, filled with lots of steam hot sexiness and swoon worthy moments.
