I only read the first Claimings book and I found myself lost for the first 30% of the book. But Tyce was a strong and likable character and I was rooting for him the entire read. Reading the Claiming series would definitely enhance the experience, but this was still a solid sci-fi adventure with light touches of mm-romance.
