DNF: 100 pages
not a bad book! just not personally for me. i found myself kind of bored, i think this may be a great book for someone who is aro-ace or thinks they may be, but with the main plot line being that self discovery: i am just not super into it. most exciting part for me was the wlw romance subplot- which i am a lesbian, so it makes sense.
criticism: i feel like there are a lot of stereotypes, racial and sexual orientation wise. this could be a me thing, or maybe i didn’t read far enough, but i felt like the main character was very bland. she was just so heavily focused on finding romance, and why didnt she like anybody, that she didnt have much of a personality outside of that besides relatable one-liners.
