Doomsday Book by Connie Willis
4.5
emotional sad slow-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Character
Loveable characters: Yes

There’s a lot of flaws in this book. Almost half of the modern day chapters I found myself dreading and every time Dunworthy went back to ask Badri more questions and nothing happened was very annoying. But also I haven’t had a book impact me this much in a long time. It made me feel sick to my stomach and cry and Kivrin is such a relatable person. She just wants to help. And you really want her to be able to even if history is against her.

2:13 in the morning. This woman is a genius.
Kivrin only rang the bell three times before she couldn’t at the end which is the number for the death of a woman aka herself aka the slaughter of innocents or lambs.
