I had just finished a super emotional and heavy book that drained a lot of my mental focus when I picked up this book because I needed the light and fluffy world that Morgan Elizabeth creates in her books. It wrapped me in comfort and refilled my much needed energy, Ava was a ray of pure sunshine that could make anyone feel full positive energy - including her grumpy bodyguard, Jamie. A pageant queen who wants to be herself and a bodyguard who needs to live a little were just the remedy I needed to get a pep back in my step. From the cat distribution system to the dairy-free ice cream I was giggling with a huge smile on my face. If you need a book to kickstart a reading slump or want a lighthearted story with plenty of top tier spice this is the perfect book for you!
