FEMME FATALE: The Agency by C.A. Bell
4 star review

Read and reviewed on behalf of 2 girls who love books blog.

As soon as I read the synopsis of this book I was intrigued and I couldn’t wait to delve into the world of the Fearless Elegant Mistress’ to Members of the Elite (FEMME) and on the whole I really enjoyed the story. It was a fairly short story at 174 pages but it certainly had everything in it that you needed. I’m pretty sure it’s going to be one of those ‘marmite’ stories where you either loved it or hated it with no in-between, for me I liked it and I’m definitely looking forward to the next book. There was a good twist at the end that I kind of suspected but was still not fully expecting. I did find myself confused at parts with the name switching but I did get used to it in the end. The only thing I did struggle with was Monica/Olivia’s character, she was lacking in some way for me that I can’t pinpoint but hopefully we may see more of her character emerge in the next book.

Overall I thought that FEMME FATALE was a good story, I thought the plot was good but with characters that lacked slightly. I am however looking forward to reading about Edward a bit more!
