Well-written with some really interesting ideas on the history of lynching, intergenerational trauma and Black history.

Also genuinely funny at times.

But I wish it went deeper into its themes.

A good read but it didn’t rock my world.

Also it’s very clearly a book written in 2020 - take that as you will.
