Was Camus trying to attain the record of saying the most ‘freedom’s” as possible in a small text. Most definitely.
Is it important and relevant to modern day circumstance. Most definitely. More so than ever his ideas and notions on where freedom springs from , how it should be applied and also the artists involvement in it is important , illustrate the shore falls and evil that has found its place in society.
To say he was ahead of his time would be wrong. He could foresee changes or the lack thereof before they were to happen. This is still pertinent to this day as we continue as a society to define freedom and Liberty and also struggle to reach freedom.
Intresting , enjoyed it. Was a tad confusing at times.
