Content Warning: on-screen sex scene, underage drinking, drug use, jealousy, grief, cancer, racism

I was not expecting an on-screen blow job for what I thought was a young adult novel. I almost feel like Dahlia Adler wanted this to be a New Adult novel, which I think is her specialty, but is aged down. I did like it a lot and thought it was an interesting look at fame and fortune mixed with "reality."

I liked the characters, the setting, and the relationships. There were some areas of plot convenience but overall it was a good novel! I would have liked a bit more of the relationship between Ally and Liam since it felt like they were always "with" other people and not really alone. It felt like there was only superficial romance between them until closer to the end.

This was a fun, easy read and I enjoyed it! I had originally read these "out of order" so I'm trying to read them "in order" this time.
