Well this was a good one. I love books about women who are 30+ and who are not living the lives that our culture (still) expects of them, so I’m probably the perfect audience for I’m Mostly Here to Enjoy Myself.

Glynnis is takes us to Paris in 2021 where she hangs out with friends, enjoys great food, rides bikes and reflects on womanhood, sensuality and the autonomy and loneliness of being a single, childfree woman in her forties.

I listened to this memoir using the BookBeat app. Glynnis is the narrator and was lovely to listen to. I will probably buy a physical copy to read again and to take note of the references Glynnis makes to writers and artists.
