Ravishing the Heiress
by Sherry Thomas
I read this book in one sitting I liked it so much. I’ll admit I’m a sucker for a bit of angst, but not too much mind you. The story started off with giving me an uh-oh feeling, but grew into something I actually quiet enjoyed. I was worried I wouldn’t like Millie, with how reserved she was. But, I really liked seeing how she would sometimes slip and I feel like that was so so so so in line with not only her upbringing but her own personality. Some people just truly are not comfortable with conflict, and this showed a nice break from the types of heroines we usually see in these novels. Excited to see more from this author.
