206 Bones by Kathy Reichs
3.0

this was so interesting.
i feel like “206 bones” broke the usual mold kathy reichs follows in her books. the technique works wonders each and every time, but nonetheless it was refreshing to see something new. i lovedddd the drama here!
“206 bones” had me in a chokehold, seriously. the dynamic between tempe and her in–laws was so fun. (affectionate) i thought we were going to see her family, but no, it was pete's. i'm not sure why, but i dig this so much.
although... what are both pete and ryan doing? gah. it was kind of unexpected to see both relationship implode—for good?—but i guess this, too, counts when it comes to how refreshing this book was.
i enjoyed the tension with the briel, and even though some aspects of it were pretty self–explanatory, the final plot twist still managed to surprise me. so, kudos!
i'm so happy about how fast and efficiently i'm going through this series.
