Okay… I must say… I 100% feel like Violet is me in a book about hockey romance. I am very similar in just blurting out random dick jokes, and it was nice reading about a character like that in a positive light!
At times it felt like she was kind of slow to the fact that Alex is going to have rumours spread and such, but I was able to look past that.
Is there a whole lot of plot to this book? Not really. Is it a nice, light, spicy romance about a hockey player and a girl who’s some kind of hockey accountant person? Yes.
It gave what it was supposed to give, and it’s a solid book.
Guide to my ratings:
5 stars: flawless, hard to put down
4 stars: it was really good and memorable
3 stars: it was good/okay
2 stars: no redeeming qualities and forgettable
1 star: horrible, had no idea what was going on, boring!!!
