This was a fun grumpy/sunshine romance. The chemistry between Jamie and Ava was so good. You have Ava who has recently been crowned Miss America and is going on a US tour and Jamie is her appointed bodyguard. He clearly has feelings for her but he fights so hard and refuses to admit it and it was just delightful to read because it was hilarious that she kept poking him just to get a reaction.

There were a lot of moments throughout this book that were very funny and I actually found myself laughing out loud and I very much enjoyed the characters as well as little elements you get of things they did in each state as they were traveling. However, I did find myself sort of losing interest towards the end of the book and it didn't have that same charm that I felt at the start. But the ending was very sweet And the epilogue was great.

There is a warning on the back of this book that actually caused me to laugh out loud and get weird looks from people around me but it was great. 🤣🤣🤣

Thank you so much to the author for a copy of this book. 💕💕
