Fifth Grave Past the Light by Darynda Jones
5.0

I wish I had given this series a chance sooner, but then I'm glad I didn't because now I don't have to wait so long before I can start the next one. At least until I fly through to the most current book, then I am going to feel so lost and I'm a little worried about that. Basically, what everyone has said about this series is true.

Charley is at it again, but this time there are dead blonde girls and women showing up in her apartment traumatized out of their minds. They won't communicate with Charley so she isn't sure how to help them. But they need help desperately. Their descriptions are quite horrifying and creepy, which I really love. It balances out Charley's need to be sarcastic and snarky.

Of course, she and Reyes are still an interesting item. So many different things happen in this one, and I don't want to give too much away in case anyone else is wanting to read it. There were a lot of questions answered, but it really only made room for even more questions. It changes the whole course of the books and I like that there is an ever reaching arch over the entire series. I like stories with large plots, and smaller plot woven in, which only fuels my series addiction.

I really liked the ending and I can't wait to start the next one.
