My Review:

Ravished was a true delight. I am glad I was able to land on this prompt and get to this book. One of my main goals for the year is to read more of this author's historical romances. Especially her older ones as many readers just rave about them and they are so well done in low inner angst and they have such solid humor attached to them that really gives off that charming endearing vibe that comes so easily with her writing. I was able to find this one in audio. Its on Anyplay if any of you are interested, its ironically not available on Amazon. Anne Flosknik has such talent in older historical romances and I love how she narrates. She is one of the better historical narrators in my opinion and isn't talked about enough.

Ravished wasn't quite the book I expected it to be. I was hoping the "smuggling and pirating" would be a bit stronger, but it still had some solid elements to the story. I loved the marriage of convenience aspect though and this HEROINE. I loved how all in she was for the relationship and how she saw through the gossip and believed in her man over it. She was always defending him even at the cost of causing gossip and scandal to protect him .....Can we please get many more heroines like this please? It really reminded me a bit of Elisa Braden's heroines. The romance was a a delight. It had quite a few swoony moments and I loved them in their quiet moments.

Overall I had a blast with Ravished and it was entertaining, adventurous and sensual. I can't wait for more Amanda Quick in the future.
