I REFUSE to like Savio. This was the book I was the most excited about because I really liked Gemma and Savio’s interactions in the other books but this was not it.
Savio was the worst; he did so many things that had steam coming out of my ears and honestly, I can’t believe Gemma stayed and got married to him. He doesn’t deserve her. Ugh, and when he told her that he wasn’t going to be an asshole anymore and she shouldn’t assume that he’s gonna hurt her when she had every right to be angry, I almost lost it.
Gemma might be one of my favourite characters (finally a female that loved to fight and wanted to do something other than have kids - which isn’t a bad thing but it was so repetitive in these books, it got annoying very quickly) but her agreeing to go on with the wedding was her worst decision. I like to think she only did it for Carlotta.
Now, there were some cute scenes between them but not enough for Savio to redeem himself (he didn’t even try in my opinion).
