The Solace: We're in the END GAME now! There's no turning back from the choices our Animorphs are forced to make. The character development in these last couple of books is wild. The internal battles each of our Animorphs has struggled with throughout the series are now coming, staring them right in the face. This story made me cry, laugh, and stay on the edge of my seat for the entire sitting.
The Dread: A large event occurs that seems to contradict something we learned earlier in the series - a continuity issue that I can't shake.
Overall, things are getting too real, and I'm so sad I'm nearing the end of their Journey. I only want a just and happy ending for the characters I've grown to love, but I fear not everyone will get out alive.
