Flight of the Intruder by Stephen Coonts

3.0

One of my favorite books of all time. Not the most well written piece, but magic the the boy who wants to aviate. Coonts' experience as a Naval aviator (don't call them pilots!) makes for an rich, engrossing story loaded with characters you want to know.
As a side note: I also enjoyed the film, but it was yet another Hollywood bastardization of a quality story. Read the book first.
