I really read this book in one sitting, and God am I sobbing right now. That book just broke my heart completely but also in a strange way kinda reassured me??? I think it was reassuring to read about the fact that Safiya never fit in, and she was always super quiet, and eventually her and her only friend just outgrew the friendship, but it showed that she was still okay after it and she manages to pick herself back up and find where she fit in. The whole book over all was just amazing
