The second book in the Myrtlewood series, returns to the village and introduces the readers to the alternate world of fae when a child disappears and Athena learns that she is half-fae. When Athena crosses over to the fae world, Rosemary becomes very agitated and, along with Athena's friends, decide to cross over to find her. Athena, her father and the kidnapped children are rescued and all seems well - maybe.
Rosemary is still a very irritating character in this series and the story meanders quite badly in spots. Nevertheless, it is a fun adventure.
