Mostly issues with pacing. There were a handful of points where I thought the plot was wrapped up and the book could've ended, but there was still a decent chuck of book left. 

The story strays from the blurb early into the story, but the digressing plot wasn't necessarily bad at all. There was just a dissonance from the premise of the book and the bulk of the content.
