Wild Cowboy Ways by Carolyn Brown

4.0

Wild Cowboy Ways is the first in the series, and I have been meaning to return to this series for a while now, as I read another installment earlier this year. I am always a fan of Carolyn Brown and really have enjoyed her work. She writes westerns so well and I am always impressed by how atmospheric they feel. I will say that even though this wasn't my favorite work from this author, I enjoyed this one quite a bit. I was really on board with the set up of the story and found the interactions at times to be quite fun and sexy. I do think that the narrator, distracted me with the accents. It could have just been me, but I did struggle a bit with staying focused with the story. But as a whole I really enjoyed this story, its super charming and lots of laughs. It also has a great wintery set up, so great as we how that is all set up. I also really enjoyed the conflict that comes between the couplel, and Carolyn Brown really delivered on that for this story. Overall I just had a blast with this story and family, and eager to move forward with the series.
