Fear and Loathing: The Strange and Terrible Saga of Hunter S. Thompson by Paul Perry

challenging dark informative fast-paced

4.25

Despite his best efforts and belief otherwise, Thompson contributed to the system in a way few could. Every non republican youth dreams of upending the system in a way that sees themselves the beneficiary, whereby it be society as a whole or in Thompson’s case, himself. In many ways this book details how he was a product of his time, and the unique circumstances that birthed this uniquely American character.
