This book should not be read while eating.
It very neatly offered a memoir-esque narrative of a man learning why he personally chooses to abstain from meat. As expected, there are the horrific, graphic scenes where the animal abuse and cruelty is described. He does not try to force vegetarianism into the reader: rather, he just makes you feel that any other option is morally dubious.
