Gem and Rusty have always been my favourite characters in this series, I love them both with my whole heart and I was soo excited to finally get a book about the two of them.
It was EVERYTHING i wanted it to be and it's definitely my favourite of the series so far.
There was a lot of character/relationship development during this slow burn, and I loved that we got to know them both so much more, especially because of how vulnerable they allowed themselves to be with each other.
Their chemistry was incredible and the sex scenes were sooo hot, but their relationship still managed to be heartwarming and tender.
I laughed a lot and cried (mostly happy tears), and I adored every minute I got to spend in this world with them.
As always the found family aspect of this story was perfect, they're all so wonderfully written and I could really feel their love for each other.
I so badly want to be part of this strange and beautiful group 🥹
