El coronel no tiene quien le escriba by Gabriel García Márquez

3.0

Three stars but ONLY in relation to other of Marquez’ works.
A story about hopeless hope and the lives of those who suffer through it.
It talks about those who bring about revolutions just to be sidelined and exploited by the new status quo—about those whose values the people praise and crave, but aren’t willing to feed or pay for.
