The first half of this book started out great, I was really enjoying the writing style and timelines. but the second half felt rushed,  unnecessarily drawn out, and repetitive. I appreciated the conversation that the author was trying to have around
abortion
but it read very sexist, shaming, and misogynistic without a real resolution. I ended up really hating Grant, his flaws were repeated so much but then he never showed any growth, genuine remorse or understanding for Tess’s decision, then doesn’t apologize or take accountability….  he comes off as sexist and completely selfish.
but then we’re supposed to be happy that they might end up together. The last 80 pages were painful to finish.
I didn’t really love any of the main characters in this book.
