I've been trying to find a 2000's romance novel that is as trashy and funny as 'Tall Dark and Fangsome', this was not that book.
Most of the humour relies on slut-shaming, Diet Culture, Internalised Misogyny etc.
That aside, the book was very easy and quick to read and the mystery – though predictable – was fun.
I would catagorize this under 'unlikable main character'.
I would say my favourite character was the morally grey tabloid reporterwho she *gasp* accidentally kisses!!
