Just read this for a second time and upped my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars.
I love JT Geissinger's heroines, Natalie. Natalie endured some hardcore trauma, and though yes she says that Kage brought her back to life she was doing fine (sex life not included) without him and didn't need him. And I appreciate that. Natalie and Sloane (book two heroine but Natalie's best friend) are worlds different but I love their friendship. Their relationship and banter is just one that makes you smile and crack up. Geissinger wrote Sloane in a way that will have you beyond ready for book two.
NATALIE AND KAGE ARE SIZZLING HOT. The smut is pretty fantastic, and not to mention...she spanks him. *insert flaming elmo gif*
I am about to start my re-read of book two because I am going through a re-reading phase right now.
