Not as cozy as some of the description implies. This is a High Stakes Urban Fantasy that just happens to have LGBTQ+, Fem Protag, and older leading character that pokes fun at the 'Chosen One' trope. Additionally, the resolution is a bit rushed (especially with how long the lead up is drawn out) and there is a lot of "please just get some therapy already" moments.
