I guess I've read this first book more than I originally thought. I knew I had read it at least twice but according to my last review its been much more than that. Anyway...I decided to do a re-read of this series this year with a bunch of friends from booktube! Dustybooksniffers is the host and I am honestly so glad I decided to re-read this series because I loved this book so much! I also counted this book for the prompt "a book with an animal on the cover" for girlbands readathon hosted by rainybluereads for team cheetah girls!
This time I decided to emersion read this book by getting the audiobook on audible and reading along with the physical book and it was probably the best decision I've made so far this year! I absolutely loved the audiobook narrator and I thought he brought this story to life even more! His voice acting was superb in my opinion!
If you know me from instagram, booktube or in real life conversation you probably know that I am obsessed with the Harry Potter movies. They bring me a lot of comfort and help me relax so I fall asleep to the movies all the time! Well I loved this audiobook so much I may have a new comfort audiobook now! There were some scenes that are in the books that aren't in the movie and I was honestly extremely entertained in engrossed in this book that I would have read it all in one sitting if I didn't have to work yesterday!
Even though I know this book pretty much by heart it brings me so much joy and happiness to be in the Harry Potter universe. It was special when I was reading this series for the first time when I was a child but I feel like its even more so now as an adult and I can't wait to continue with this series in March!
