I needed a few days to reflect on this book before I could review as it is a lot! As a sufferer from chronic illness I was interested in books written by other sufferers. As a reading women podcast recommended book (blind book date) I thought it would be easier to start with a book about a condition I did not suffer from. However, this book got me and days later I cannot stop thinking about it! This is a great balance between the authors personal story but also the struggle with the stigma surrounding mental illness and it’s treatments both societally and in the medical profession.

Highly recommend! I am still processing...
