Way too many modern pop culture references for this book to age well. But don't worry - there is always a naive teen in the dialogue to explain the slang. Who else is over millennial writers adding so much 80s and 90s music and movies onto their books via theme parties and film geeks? It's like Star Trek where Nazis were still being referenced hundreds of years from the 1940's. Too many drugs. Too predictable. But readable. I'll read the OG Anna K next to compare.
