Thorns & Fire by Helen Scheuerer is the second book in The Ashes of Thezmarr series. On the brink of another war, Wren and Torj are overwhelmed by their feelings for each other and their bond. Wren is struggling yo find her place and Torj is trying to save Wren at all costs. 

 

Ah!!! This book was just as good if not better than book one! I ate it up! I really need to get a physical copy of this book to add to my collection. I love the found family in this! I love Kipp and Cal. I hope we get more of their stories in the next book as I want them to have their happy ending too! 

 

Wren and Torj just have so much tension and connection. It is so palpable. I loved the added story line of the soul bond. Deeper than just being in love but literally their souls are connected. It really played with emotions in this book. So much going on! 

 

Cannot wait for book three!!!
